Job Description Reporting to the HR Director, you will work with a peer to support the Engineering division and provide HR advisory services to the department head. You will collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, offering guidance on budget, costs, workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and organizational design. You will lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, support recruitment to attract engineering talent, and oversee performance appraisal processes. A key part of the role involves leveraging HR technologies and data analytics to generate reports, monitor workforce trends, and share actionable insights with leadership. You will manage employee relations professionally, ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies, and contribute to continuous improvement through evidence-based HR practices. The Successful Applicant A successful HR Business Partner should hold a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, and bring proven experience in HR business partnering, ideally within Engineering, Technology, Manufacturing or other front line driven industries. Candidates with experience managing a workforce of 700-800 frontline staff will be considered, regardless of industry background. The ideal candidate will be able to conduct data analysis across HR topics such as costs, budget, manpower planning, retention, etc., with the ability to provide value-added insights to key stakeholders in the engineering and business teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
