The Company : HK company over 50 years history Sweater garment manufacturer Factory : Dongguan Main market : US, Europe & China We are looking for Product Developer / Senior Product Developer - with details as follows : The Job : Report to: Head of Product Management Job summary: Perform product development for assigned fashion brands/customers. Technical Support: Provide relevant technical support and liaise with internal departments and external clients for product development. Project Oversight: Oversee product development from the prototyping phase through to mass production. Development Monitoring: Ensure the development of new products adheres to design briefs during prototyping and sampling phases. Reporting: Regularly provide concise reports and progress updates to the Head of Product Management. Proposal Preparation: Prepare development proposals and follow up on sample progress. Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in various ad hoc projects as required. Educational Background: Degree holder or Higher Diploma in Fashion Design (especially in flat knit), Textile Technology, or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of solid experience in fashion design, fashion development or fashion merchandising. Technical Skills: Experience with sampling/prototyping and direct interaction with manufacturers to troubleshoot and monitor progress. Personal Attributes: Responsible, well-organized, eager to learn, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment. Language Proficiency: Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin. Location Flexibility: Willingness to work in Dongguan for 3-4 days per week (with Company shuttle bus transportation provided between Dongguan Changping railway station and factory).
