We are looking for Electronic Engineers and Product Engineers (Senior roles available) to drive the development of our hardware Io T solutions. The ideal candidates will design, develop, and optimize Io T sensors and related devices, integrating 3 D modeling, electronics design, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
This role will contribute to Leaf Io T's mission to develop smarter solutions for urban forestry and environmental conservation. Key Responsibilities

Hardware Development: Design and develop Io T hardware sensors, including circuit design, PCB layout, and sensor integration.
Prototyping and Testing: Create and refine prototypes, conduct rigorous testing, and validate designs to ensure reliability and performance.
3 D Modeling: Develop 3 D models for sensor enclosures and hardware components, optimizing for durability, aesthetics, and functionality.
Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing partners to transition prototypes into scalable production, ensuring quality control and compliance.
Collaborative R&D: Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and project managers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software systems.
Product Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve hardware designs to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and extend device lifespans.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of designs, specifications, and testing results to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in Io T, sensors, and hardware design.

Requirements
Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB layout, and microcontroller-based systems (e.g., Arduino, STM32, ESP32).
Proficiency in 3 D modeling tools such as Solid Works, Auto CAD, or Fusion 360.
Hands-on experience with hardware prototyping tools and techniques (e.g., 3 D printers, CNC machines).
Familiarity with Io T protocols (e.g., MQTT, Lo Ra, Zigbee) and sensor integration.
Knowledge of testing and validation tools, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental testing equipment.
Understanding of materials for hardware design, including plastics, metals, and composites for enclosures.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
