(Ref.: H01/2025/073)Job Description: Designing, developing, and optimizing microfluidic devices and systems for high-throughput screening applications Prototyping microfluidic systems and platforms through integration and instrumentation Working with internal R&D team to develop and establish standard operation procedures for various types of biological samples Working with both academic collaborators and industrial partners Translating research outcomes into marketable applications and business opportunities Writing proposals, reports, articles, patents, technical specifications, and other publications Delivering high-quality presentations to collaborators and partners Handling other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s)Skills and Requirements: Hold a Ph D degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines Strong knowledge and expertise in microfluidics, including device design/fabrication, building up measuring system, system control, applications in biomedical fields, etc.
Preferable with research experience in droplet microfluidics, system integration and instrumentation With strong passion in conducting R&D in biomedical instrumentation Candidates with a clear career plan for product development within the biomedical industry (but not a purely academic career) will be given higher priority.
