Job Description Driving research activities towards defined goals in specified timeline Identifying technology development opportunities to solve major problems in the healthcare sector Processing in data analysis and management Writing proposals, reports, patents and other publications Delivering high-quality presentations to collaborators and industrial partners Liaising with project collaborators and partners Performing various laboratory administrative duties Mentoring junior research staff and students Handling other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s)Skills and Requirements Field of Study: Ph D degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Physics or related disciplines Preferably with research experience in electrocorticography, brain-computer interface, transistor fabrications, flexible electronics, sensors Preferably with industry (corporate, non-academic) R&D experience in the Animal or Human Neurosurgery / Neurophysiology / Neuropathology / FDA-related Regulatory Affairs With strong passion in conducting applied research in device physics Fluent in English in both writing and verbal communications; clear and concise writing skills Good time management with a strong sense of responsibility and research ethics Mature, self-motivated, confident and able to work under pressure A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
