Senior Global Procurement Category Supervisor - Textile Job Description: Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet the organization's needs in terms of quality, delivery, cost, and service level agreements. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. product development, operation etc) to understand business needs and requirements. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary. Develop and maintain category-specific metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify improvement opportunities. Drive cost savings and value creation initiatives within the category. Develop and maintain category-specific policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. Keep up-to-date with market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in the textiles categories. Strong sense to create sustainable saving pipeline (e.g. Scope 3, GRS etc.)Support Manager to lead a raw material team for the team capability build-up, coaching and leading the team for the same target to the company. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in International Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. Prior experience in Textiles category management preferred. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights. Proficiency in procurement technology and systems. Procurement Category Leads are responsible for setting savings targets, tracking progress against those targets, and identifying new opportunities for savings. Supplier Performance: This metric measures the performance of suppliers in terms of delivery, quality, and service level agreements. Procurement Category Leads are responsible for monitoring supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Contract Compliance: This metric measures the degree to which suppliers comply with the terms and conditions of the contract. Procurement Category Leads are responsible for monitoring contract compliance and taking corrective actions to ensure compliance. Category Spend: This KPI measures the total spend for the category. Procurement Category Leads are responsible for tracking category spend and ensuring that spend is aligned with organizational goals. Total Cost of Ownership: This KPI measures the total cost of owning and operating the goods or services procured within the category. Procurement Category Leads are responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce the total cost of ownership. Cycle Time: This metric measures the time it takes to complete the procurement process. Procurement Category Leads are responsible for identifying bottlenecks in the procurement process and implementing process improvements.
