Position Summary
This role reports directly to the Purchasing Manager and plays a key part in supporting the purchasing function.
The successful candidate will work closely with a team of four purchasing staff members and assist in sourcing watch components, coordinating supplier communications, and maintaining procurement records.
The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Purchasing Manager in daily procurement operations
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of watch components
Monitor material supply and assist in resolving shortages
Maintain accurate purchase records and supplier databases
Assist in negotiating pricing and delivery terms under guidance
Allocate tasks and supervise routine purchasing activities within the team
Help control purchasing costs and align with budget targets
Build and maintain effective supplier relationships
Prepare reports and updates for the Purchasing Manager
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the watch industry
Experience in purchasing, sourcing, product development, supply chain, or manufacturing is a plus
Strong knowledge of watch components is preferred
Prior purchasing experience is an advantage but not mandatory
Good communication and negotiation skills
Team-oriented with basic supervisory experience
Proficient in English and Mandarin
