About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Chemicals Scientist with advanced expertise in fine chemical research, development, and application to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of sustainable innovation by applying AI-driven approaches to specialty chemicals development. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize novel specialty chemical compounds and formulations using AI-assisted research methodologies Conduct laboratory experiments following established protocols and good laboratory practices Analyze experimental data using advanced analytical instrumentation and techniques Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to cross-functional teams Collaborate with product development teams to scale up laboratory processes Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in specialty chemicals and AI applications Contribute to intellectual property through patents and publications Support regulatory compliance and sustainability initiatives Qualifications Master's or Ph D degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field Demonstrated expertise in organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, or catalysis Proficiency with advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, NMR, MS, FTIR)Experience with laboratory automation and high-throughput experimentation preferred Strong problem-solving skills and scientific curiosity Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams Technical Skills Synthesis and characterization of specialty chemicals Formulation development and optimization Statistical design of experiments (DOE)Process development and scale-up knowledge Familiarity with chemical manufacturing processes Proficiency with laboratory data management systems Experience with computational chemistry or machine learning tools is a plus Additional Qualifications (Preferred)Publication record in peer-reviewed journals Experience in industrial R&D environments Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (REACH, GHS)Project management experience Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin)Experience with sustainable chemistry principles We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative and innovative environment at the forefront of AI-driven chemical research.
