Job Description Technical Sales Engineer - Asia Pacific Region About The Company European corporation specializing in high-technology engineered materials Leading manufacturer and installer of heat-resistant materials for high-temperature industrial processes Recognized as a specialist in refractory solutions for the cement, non-ferrous metal & steel, lime, and related industries across Asia Pacific Regional headquarters located in Hong Kong Operates four manufacturing facilities in China Primary market focus: Asia Pacific Position Overview Role: Technical Sales Engineer Location: Based in Hong Kong, with potential relocation to another APAC country after initial training Reporting Line: European Executive Director of Sales, Asia Team Ideal Candidates Bachelor's degree in Ceramics, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related discipline1+ years of experience in technical sales within the cement, steel, or metal industries (or equivalent); with engineering background preferred Familiarity with high-temperature industrial processes or refractory products is an advantage Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven sales techniques and a results-driven mindset Ability to conduct technical and commercial negotiations with clients Key Responsibilities Travel extensively across Southeast Asia and China to visit clients in assigned territories Provide technical consulting and tailored refractory solutions for industrial applications Deliver product presentations, conduct on-site training, and lead technical workshops Prepare detailed proposals, present solutions confidently, and close sales effectively Expand the company's client base and cultivate long-term business relationships Compensation & Benefits Five-day work week13-month salary plus performance-based bonus20 days of annual leave Comprehensive medical and dental coverage Supportive, multicultural work environment TO APPLY For This Job Or Similar Jobs Please attach your CV with salary expected to JPC Recruiting Services was established in 1990.
