Assistant Sales Manager
Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong is a leading business hotel on Hong Kong Island, offering an intimate conference room space and complimentary shuttle service to nearby corporate hubs. Guest rooms and suites boast picturesque views of Victoria Harbour. The hotel is located six minutes walk from the MTR HKU station.
Responsibilities
Establish, maintain and develop long lasting business relationships with commercial clients, including corporate guests and key contacts for hotel reservations.
Identify new accounts that fit the property sales strategy and develop sales plans to generate business from identified markets/accounts.
Determine the account’s needs, Marriott’s objectives, and marketing activities of each assigned market/account.
Solicit and source business leads, follow up, and close the sale.
Prospect new business through phone solicitation, outside sales calls, client visits, trade shows, sales blitzes, direct mail, newspaper/journal research, and other customer interaction or research.
Spend majority of time in face-to-face client interaction outside the hotel, including sales calls.
Strive to meet measurable targets and goals, as assigned for individual and team; represent the hotel whenever on duty; continuously communicate the benefits of the hotel to clients.
Assist in driving digital sales.
Handle other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hospitality sales or front office experience.
Self‑motivated to achieve targets with minimal supervision.
Energetic, passionate and result‑oriented.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese & Mandarin.
Able to work under pressure and multitask.
Candidates with less sales experience will be considered for Sales Executive.
