Role Overview We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Digital Marketing Officer with 2-5 years of experience to lead our paid and organic campaigns across key platforms.
You'll play a pivotal role in amplifying our brand, optimizing user acquisition, and leveraging AI tools to create compelling ad content.
Ideal candidates thrive in startup settings, are highly organized, and excel at cross-cultural communication—particularly in Cantonese and English—to connect with diverse audiences in Hong Kong and Greater China.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies focused on user acquisition, engagement, and retention across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Xiaohongshu (XHS), and We Chat ecosystems.
Manage paid ad campaigns, including budgeting, A/B testing, and performance optimization to achieve KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, and conversion rates.
Utilize AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway ML, or similar) to generate high-quality video ads and posters, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and cultural nuances.
Build and maintain interactive marketing dashboards using Zoho Analytics and Tableau to visualize campaign performance, providing actionable insights to the leadership team.
Collaborate with content creators, product teams, and external partners to align marketing efforts with product launches and educational initiatives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and platform algorithm changes to refine strategies and innovate campaign formats.
Track and report on campaign ROI, preparing concise executive summaries and recommendations for iterative improvements.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.2-5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, with at least 2 years at a digital agency (e.g., performance marketing or growth hacking roles).
Proven expertise in running and optimizing campaigns on Meta, Xiaohongshu (XHS), and We Chat, including audience targeting, creative development, and analytics.
Proficiency in building and customizing dashboards with Zoho Analytics and Tableau for real-time data visualization and reporting.
Experience using AI tools to create ad assets (videos and static posters), with a portfolio of generated work preferred.
Fluency in spoken and written Cantonese (essential for local market engagement) and professional proficiency in English.
Highly organized with strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities in a resource-constrained startup environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset to foster team synergy and stakeholder buy-in.
Willingness to embrace the agility and hustle of a startup, including occasional evening/weekend work for campaign launches or platform updates.
