General Background Since 2007, UNHCR Private Sector Partnerships has been running successful fundraising programs in Asian markets. In 2024, PSP aims to raise a minimum of HK$106 million from the Hong Kong market. The Senior Fundraising Assistant (Face to Face) will play a key role in managing operations, performance, and administrative work for both outsourced vendors and in-house operations for PSP. This position is a UNOPS position with a contract of six months.2. Purpose and Scope of Assignment Operational Context: The Senior Fundraising Assistant (Face-to-Face) is part of the Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) Unit in Hong Kong. Under the supervision of the Senior PSP Associate (Face-to-Face), this incumbent will be responsible for managing and operating overall face-to-face fundraising activities. Support to develop and manage the Face-to-Face donor acquisition program in Hong Kong and Macao SARs to meet fundraising targets. Assist in setting up in-house operations to recruit monthly donors. Coordinate with outsourced vendors and in-house frontliners for locations and venue. Assist in developing and implementing strategies for F2 F Fundraisers. Monitor KPIs to ensure quality donor recruitment.3. Qualifications and Experiencea. Education: Completion of Secondary Education (High School Diploma). Higher Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Translation, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.b. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience with High School Degree and 1 year with a Bachelor’s or higher degree, preferably in Fundraising, Sales Support, Marketing, or Communications.c. Key Competencies: Hands-on Direct marketing skills, ability to work independently, good verbal communication, performance management skills, MS Office proficiency, and proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English.
