Responsible for deployment, configuration, and support of on-premise Windows 2019+ Operating System for a HKSAR government sector customer. Non-Supervisory position, reporting to infrastructure team supervisor. Non-Shift Duty Role, but out of office hour support is expected. To succeed in this role: Mandatory Criteria University graduate. Minimum of 3 years of solid hands-on experience in on-premise Windows Server 2019+ support, including installation, configuration, OS hardening, OS patching, and troubleshooting of Windows Server servers in an environment with over 100 physical or virtualised Windows Server instances. Additionally, minimum of 3 years of solid experience in one or more of the following domains: SAN Environment (Brocade SAN Switch and HDS VSP Series Storage) OR; Virtualization Platform (VMware v Sphere) OR; Centralised Patch Management Software (WSUS). Holder of the following certificates are a plus: MCSE / Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate OR; VMware VCP-DCV. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Come from an IT System Integration company background; Have worked in either implementation or maintenance phase supporting on-premise Windows Server 2019+ Operating System in a HKSAR Government IT Maintenance project (but not in a purely supervisory role overseeing the work of the SI vendor); Familiar with ITIL Processes such as Incident Management and Change Management; Familiar with using ticketing systems such as BMC Remedy, Open Text SMAX to facilitate ITIL Processes.
