Job Description My client is a well-established insurer, they are now looking for a data specialist / digitla solution specialist to join them.

This role will be focusing on the development of service-related technologies to increase customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities: Maintain close communication with multiple business units to understand the business initiatives and optimize the usage of data science and digital technologies Identify opportunities to leverage Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Speech Recognition focused technologies to improve customer journey Deliver customer-facing digital application solutions across the multiple digital channels (e.g., mobile application, website, e-commerce and omni-channels).

Develop sourcing, cleansing, structuring and ingesting new data sources.

Represent the team as the technical specialist to work with IT / Vendors, ensuring Chatbot backend such as DB, APIs, Infrastructures readiness to carry out technical solutions.

Conduct regular Chatbot compatibility and continuous improvement review.

Propose direction to uplift Chatbot efficiencies and overall performances.

Stay in tune with market research and development and evaluate different technologies to address current challenges and future improvements.

Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and / or other requirements.

The candidate: Bachelor in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experiences in ML / AI / NLP / Speech Analytics / Speech Recognition solutions.

Text / Language Database design for NLP in mixed language.

Experience of diverse data analysis with advanced text analytics skills, especially with English and Chinese.

Programming experience with SQL, (+)Sybase, (+) Oracle, Python, C++, Scala, Java, R or similar language.

Sufficient knowledge in System development life cycle, or Agile methodology.

Familiar with Cloud Technology such as MS Azure would be an advantage.

Plan and execute testing including but not limited to UAT, Postproduction Testing.

Proactive and quick to respond to any system failure related scenarios, resolve the issue in timely manners.

Knowledge of web service products and mobile development.

Ability to pick up insurance concepts quickly.

Fluent in English and Cantonese.

Basic insurance and pension knowledge would be an advantage.
