Your role serves as the heartbeat of Red Bull’s daily social presence, integrating channel management, content programming and creation, and influencer marketing to maximize local relevancy. This role is responsible for uncovering unique storytelling opportunities and crafting differentiated experiences that resonate deeply with the Hong Kong audience. By strategically growing and maintaining a robust network of creators and social platforms, the Specialist amplifies brand awareness and engagement across both owned and third‑party media ecosystems.
Programming and Channel Management
Lead the development and execution of the channel strategy and content programming across Red Bull Hong Kong’s managed platforms including Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, Threads and redbull.com, creators and third party channels
Manage the execution of agencies and freelancers to ensure all deliverables align with the established strategic plan and review performance
Define the strategy and programming of redbull.com according to the local marketing calendar, adhering to global standards with SEO, connected user experience and driving conversion down the funnel
Improve channel performance by creating fun, light‑hearted, and “Gen Z‑relatable” content while increasing posting frequency with support from freelancers, enhancing blue & silver branding and increasing brand and product mentioning
Build community through social media community management and community‑focused initiatives to enhance consumer engagement
Storytelling, Content Creation & Production
Identify great story opportunities within the market and build audience plans from standalone content to flankers that are created with Red Bull events, projects and other properties in mind
Develop, localise and locally produce social‑first content concepts around our marketing mix with a hyper focus on local relevancy, strong branding and quality in context
Create and curate engaging and innovative content that excites and inspires evolving consumers
Lead and manage freelancers and production agencies in content selection, development and execution from briefing, planning and providing timely feedback
Creator & Influencer Network
Lead the expansion of the creator and influencer program, onboarding fresh storytelling talent to unlock new audience potential
Stay at the forefront of influencer trends and the digital landscape to identify creators who authentically align with the brand; develop tailored plans for key creators and scale a tactical influencer network to drive credible word‑of‑mouth for priority campaigns
Cultivate and manage long‑term relationships with creators, overseeing the end‑to‑end process from ideation and execution to follow‑up to educate brand and product knowledge to ensure consistent exposure
Earned Social
Identify and build relationships with key media and Gen Z‑focused media to increase our content and stories visibility
Expand an earned social network to maximise content visibility and discoverability through strategic platform outreach, covering both “always‑on” engagement and tactical project‑based initiatives
Support Media Network, Sports & Culture, Brand & Consumer Collecting projects to build and execute comprehensive EMO plan
Monitoring & Analysis
Monitor and analyse the performances of social media channels and website to translate the data into actionable plans and business planning
Optimize channel performance and drive smooth consumer journeys across platforms
Gather and report consumer insights, feedback, competitors’ activity, social and local innovation
Qualifications & Skills
A communication professional in digital media including programming and content production with more than 2 years relevant experience; media/marketing agency experience is a plus
Concrete experience in running social media accounts and websites is required
Expert in identifying where consumers live digitally, how they consume content and how to engage with content according to their consumption behaviour
Analytic thinking, high affinity to data, with ability to translate into strategy and concrete initiatives
Experience in content production (shooting, editing, etc.), knowledge of social copywriting and community management
Strong network of production partners in the fields, particularly with sports, lifestyle and culture; good to have a network of content creators within the fields
With a can‑do attitude and focused on delivering results; team player, excellent communicator, open‑minded, innovative and self‑motivated
Bachelor degree, ideally in Marketing or Business
Fluency in Cantonese & English (verbal & written)
