Job Description - By-laws Inspection Unit Officer (Ref: 25000013)Responsibilities Lead a team to perform station patrolling, execute 'MTR By-laws' and ticket inspections mainly at East Rail Line. Assist station staff in prosecuting fare evasion and imposing fines in accordance with procedures, and deal with other inappropriate behaviors of offenders. Prevent passengers from entering the railway premises with large luggage or dangerous items which are non-compliant with the Corporation's regulations. Control passenger flow and maintain order at the station. Requirements HKCEE / HKDSE level. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the disciplinary forces (e.g. Hong Kong Police Force, Customs & Excise Department, Correctional Services Department, etc.) or experience in enforcement of MTR By-laws. Remark Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms. Required to perform shift duties on irregular patterns of hours with an estimated average monthly income of HK$22,000 (including the shift duty related allowance*, laundry allowance, 13th month pay and annual discretionary award). Reporting for duty during adverse weather will be eligible for related allowances. The above position offers a Joining Bonus of HK$12,000, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant programme.
