Our Licensed Crypto Exchange firm client is looking for an Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join their Infrastructure team.

Responsibilities: Design and deploy scalable IT infrastructure systems, encompassing servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing.

Conduct installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices, servers, storage, and virtualization solutions.

Identify and resolve complex system challenges and network issues, collaborating for prompt solutions.

Oversee and optimize system performance to ensure maximum scalability and reliability.

Track system capacity, pinpoint bottlenecks, and implement enhancements.

Establish security protocols, access controls, and manage patches.

Create and uphold backup and disaster recovery strategies for vital data and IT resources, testing restoration and failover/failback processes periodically.

Maintain system documentation and disseminate knowledge among team members.

Work alongside cross-functional teams to provide technical assistance.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and propose enhancements.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.

3+ years of experience in system architecture design, deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.

Strong expertise in servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing.

Proficiency in the latest Windows operating systems (Server/Workstation), Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu), and virtualization platforms (e.g., ESXi, MS Hypervisor).

Familiarity with Enterprise Storage Solutions (e.g., Synology, HP Store Once).

Understanding of network protocols, security, backup, high availability, and business continuity principles.

Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Power Shell, Command Shell) is an advantage.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, VCP) are a plus.
