Job Summary
The SCF Program Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of select corporate Supply Chain Finance clients. The role helps drive the growth of SCF revenues through effective structuring and scaling of programs, achieving increased wallet penetration. The position also provides guidance to SCF Specialists within various clusters supporting their day‑to‑day interactions with clients. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, coordinating the implementation of new and existing mandates, monitoring portfolio risk and exploring opportunities for product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Support deal teams in client discussions around new facility structure and program expansion.
Shepherd deal onboarding to achieve optimal flight times and expedite monetization.
Support the effective management of SCF programmes by engaging with clients for renewals and receivables due‑diligence requirements while enabling portfolio value outcomes.
Define and execute the SCF pipeline strategy by identifying high‑impact, convertible opportunities in partnership with front‑line teams.
Manage delivery checkpoints across product, operations, credit, and implementation teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Serve as the single point of accountability during the full lifecycle—from client approval to post‑go‑live stabilization.
Ensure Deal Memo is accurate, sufficiently detailed and aligned with BCA, Fast Tracker and legal documentation.
Ensure efficient handoffs between teams by embedding delivery frameworks and execution standards.
Help to standardize risk monitoring, performance measurement and pipeline tracking achieving consistency across regions.
Provide product knowledge, training, and coaching to internal teams to enhance SCF understanding and execution quality.
Co‑create tailored marketing and sales materials that reflect client‑specific messaging and technical insights.
Act as a culture carrier for delivery excellence, client‑centricity, and solution innovation across the SCF team.
Understand the risk profile of SCF programmes through awareness of key industry risks, the mechanics of the client’s transactions and internal due‑diligence outcomes.
Proactively monitor program and portfolio risk indicators including payment delays, supplier risk concentration, and early warning signals.
Coordinate timely escalation and resolution of issues through appropriate risk forums and governance routines.
Ensure strong alignment with risk, legal, and compliance to uphold internal control and external regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
Depth of regional or global experience managing or selling supply chain finance and trade finance solutions at large in one or more global financial institutions and geographies.
Combination of large and small deal experience across geographies and customer segments including MNCs, large LCs and SMEs.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Experience in leading/driving change including strong process management skills.
Strong people management skills.
Strong sales and interpersonal skills with an ability and knowledge to articulate Supply Chain Finance program benefits.
Ability to understand and negotiate legal agreements supporting Supply Chain Finance solutions.
Strong Supply Chain Finance, cash and FX product knowledge.
Languages
Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
