Qualitative Research and Consumer Insight Lead Our client is on the lookout for a seasoned qualitative research and insight leader to join their team in Hong Kong. You will play a pivotal role in leading all the qualitative research projects and ensure the seamless execution of research initiatives. Your role will be crucial in uncovering profound consumer insights that inform and influence strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Innovate: Oversee and manage qualitative research projects, ensuring they are executed with precision and creativity. Methodology Development: Craft and design research methodologies tailored to meet specific client needs and objectives. Data Collection: Conduct a variety of qualitative research methods, including in-depth interviews, focus groups, ethnographic studies, and more. Online Sentiment Analysis: Utilize social media monitoring tools and conduct online sentiment analysis to gather additional consumer insights and track brand reputation. Insight Generation and Presentation: Analyze and interpret qualitative data to extract meaningful and actionable insights. Deliver compelling presentations of research findings to stakeholders and cross-functional teams, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Collaborative Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate qualitative insights into broader business strategies and initiatives. Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in qualitative research to continuously enhance our methodologies and approaches. Qualifications: Degree holder in marketing, business, psychology, social sciences or related disciplines. A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in qualitative research gained from both research agency and client side. Solid experience in consumer insights development in any B2 C industry such as retail, luxury, FMCG, consumer goods, lifestyle and travel. Prior regional/global project experience is required. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate clear, actionable insights. A deep passion for uncovering consumer insights and driving business impact through qualitative research. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and engaging manner. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required.
