The Quality Manager is responsible for making sure that our overall Quality plan is set up, managed, and followed internally in the company and by all our external partners. She/ He is responsible for managing all aspects of the Performance, Safety and Quality of products, to ensure products are available on time at the right quality level. Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Part of the sourcing team to ensure quality points are integrated in all new range development. Implement Quality Management Plans for all new ranges projects, manage supplier quality audits, product quality requirement and shipment inspections. Conduct on-site Quality Audits of all potential new suppliers and factories. Manage the Quality relationship with suppliers, ensure all suppliers understand our requirements for quality management and product safety and product quality. Maintain up-to-date records for all Quality activity, including factory audit reports, test reports and inspection reports, and share with other areas of the business as needed. Coordinate and supply all needed documents customers request in terms of Quality requirement. Identify safety and quality requirements for new product ranges of new retail markets, record this information in Generic Global Protocols, and share it with all relevant parties. Consult the organization on updated quality standards to ensure product compliance. Review all third service providers’ reports and communicate to service provider(s) for any query (on-line, life test, lab testing, inspections, and audits). Provide quality/Technical support to all needed departments; investigate product issues and work with suppliers to identify root causes and to take appropriate actions to prevent recurrence. Managing the performance of external service providers based on cost, service quality and value of technical support provided. Manage the cost of Quality Management effectively, ensuring that all paid services deliver the maximum value for money in terms of Quality Management. Keep records of all Quality Management costs for periodic analysis. Building a strong relationship with our external service providers, licensor technical team and internal global clients to ensure timely and accurate technical support and communication of requirements. Improve the QA process, quality concept and quality control methods training guidance. Look for continuous improvements to the efficiency in the department and propose these to the organization. Analyzes and manage Consumer Service Claims to identify root cause and identify corrective/preventive actions in product design, manufacturing, and processes. Review brand-partner and client quality requirements to ensure they are understood by all parties and incorporated into Quality Management plans as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in the hardgoods manufacturing industry Similar like cookware, tabletop and kitchen knife experience will be an advantage Proven track record of developing and implementing effective quality control systems and processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Project management experience to lead quality improvement initiatives is a plus Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to hardgoods manufacturing Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Production Industries Consumer Services
