Our mission is to utilize innovation and technology to recycle expiring products and redistribute them to people in need, while promoting responsible consumption behaviors and reducing unnecessary food waste. As a Research Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our research project, focusing on the development of an AI-powered dynamic price system. This system aims to effectively capture the residual value of temporary products by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. By integrating advanced AI algorithms and data analytics techniques, we aim to enhance pricing decisions, optimize revenue, reduce waste, and improve profitability. Responsibilities: Conduct research and development of advanced AI algorithms, such as machine learning and deep learning models, to analyze and predict pricing trends based on historical data, market conditions, and other relevant factors. Apply AI-based predictive analytics techniques to forecast customer demand for temporary products, enabling the dynamic price system to anticipate demand fluctuations and adjust prices accordingly. Investigate the application of AI algorithms for market analysis, including competitor pricing analysis, sentiment analysis of customer feedback, and identification of emerging market trends. Explore the use of reinforcement learning algorithms to optimize pricing strategies over time, allowing the dynamic price system to continuously improve its policies for long-term revenue optimization. Research and develop methodologies to ensure the explainability and interpretability of AI models used in the dynamic price system, enabling businesses to understand pricing decisions and build trust in the system. Requirements: Bachelor's, Master's or Ph. D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. Strong background in AI research and data analytics, with experience in machine learning, deep learning, and predictive analytics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with AI frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, Py Torch). Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. Familiarity with market analysis and pricing optimization concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research-oriented environment. Strong communication skills to present research findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in developing AI models for pricing or demand forecasting. Knowledge of reinforcement learning algorithms and their application in optimization problems. Familiarity with interpretability and explainability techniques for AI models.
