Impact of this role The Complex Director of Talent and Culture is responsible for developing and executing strategic human resources initiatives across the 600-rooms, multiple restaurants and events spaces at Rosewood Hong Kong and the 287-room K11 Artus. With a combined workforce of over 1,400 associates, this role serves as a key business partner to the Managing Director and executive leadership, shaping the people strategy, organizational culture, and associate experience in alignment with the vision and values of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Serve as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and Executive Committee, bringing a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to organizational and talent challenges. Design and implement an optimal complex-wide organizational structure, leveraging synergies between Rosewood Hong Kong and K11 Artus. Lead rollout and pilot implementation of Rosewood global Talent and Culture initiatives, championing the brand’s values and future-forward talent vision. Talent Management & Development Oversee end-to-end talent lifecycle: workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and leadership development. Build a robust employer brand and talent pipeline that supports current and future business needs. Ensure execution of world-class learning programs and performance management processes. Associate Experience & Engagement Actively listen to associate feedback and create strategies to enhance workplace culture, wellbeing, and retention. Champion associate recognition, welfare, and benefits programs, staying ahead of evolving associate expectations and market trends. Foster an inclusive and empowering environment that reflects the values of both properties and the wider Rosewood group. Operational Excellence Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with Hong Kong Labor Law and related legal matters. Review compensation and benefits programs for competitiveness and internal equity, managing annual salary planning and reporting. Analyze and address key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and workforce productivity. Collaboration & Culture Building Partner closely with department heads and regional/corporate T&C teams to embed Rosewood’s culture, vision, and brand standards. Drive consistency in associate communication, grievance handling, and policy interpretation. Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring that the heart-of-house environment reflects Rosewood’s luxury positioning. Critical Skills & Qualification Minimum of 10 years’ progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in luxury hospitality or complex operations. Fluency in English is required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required (at least one). Strong knowledge of Hong Kong labor laws and HR best practices. Demonstrated strategic thinking, business acumen, and organizational development capability. Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills. Proven experience advising senior leadership and managing change across diverse teams.
