Grade 4 Teacher - LOAMinimum Job Requirements: NYS Elementary Certification Job Description: Westmere Elementary is seeking a dynamic, child-focused, fourth grade teacher from the middle of March to the end of the school year, June 28, 2025. Current NYS Elementary Certification is required. This individual will be responsible for planning and teaching the NYS curriculum in math, ELA (reading, writing, & word study), science, and social studies, as well as implementing the NYS Math and ELA Assessments in April and May. Other requirements include collaboration with grade level colleagues and staff including service providers, maintaining a positive attitude, having a problem-solving mindset, and ongoing communication with parents. Teacher hours are 7:25-3:10 with daily planning time. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.
