What You'll Do:
Analyze the threat landscape and implement appropriate security controls.
Operate and maintain production security systems.
Manage security changes across hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments.
Develop and implement automated, scalable security processes and controls.
Oversee and monitor organization-wide security practices.
Drive security as a business enabler.
Lead and mentor team members in security operations and best practices.
What You'll Bring:
Experience: At least 5 years in security engineering. (Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior Security Operations Engineer role.)
Expertise: Broad knowledge of security engineering concepts and practices.
Leadership: Experience mentoring or leading in the cybersecurity field.
Technical Skills: Strong foundations in operating systems, cloud, and network engineering.
Offensive Security: Understanding security from an adversary's perspective.
Hands-On Skills: Experience in security operations processes such as:
Security monitoring and intrusion prevention/detection.
Network security and endpoint management/protection.
Identity management, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
Threat Response: Expertise in identifying and responding to threats in distributed environments.
Programming: Proficiency in a high-level programming language.
Ownership: A proactive approach to resolving issues and driving results.
