Senior Finance Manager – Financial Accounting (HK$65 K - $80 K) (Ref. No.: 27718)Our client, a Chinese Bank is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position. Job Duties Lead financial control and reporting functions of the Bank, overseeing financial reporting, financial controls and operations Developing, enhancing, and implementing accounting policies, monitoring procedures, and controls, including oversight of daily accounting operations (journal entries, reconciliations, financial consolidation process, balancing, verification, and monitoring) to ensure statement accuracy Managing bank expense payments and budget driven cost controls Assess, implement and enhance accounting system and accounting policies, driving process improvement Ensure all financial records comply with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and bank policies Mentor and coach team members, driving process improvements, and enhancing operational efficiency Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors as needed Job Requirements University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines Qualified accountant with over 10 years' of relevant experience in bank accounting management, of which 5 years in managerial role Strong knowledge of banking financial accounting principles, transaction processing, risk controls, and research capabilities Comprehensive understanding of banking operations with proven ability to apply complex accounting standards to banking business Proven track record in designing and improving accounting monitoring frameworks and supervisory protocols Experience supporting banking business growth through process simplification, operational risk management, and robust internal control frameworks Excellent analytical, coordination, communication, and time management skills Proactive, positive attitude with strong sense of ownership Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
