About the Client
Our client is a HK listed conglomerate. Currently they are hiring a Senior Manager to lead investor relations activities in the China market.
About the Role
Act as the primary representative for investor relations activities in Mainland China, building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors, analysts, intermediaries, and financial media.
Formulate and execute China-focused investor engagement plans aligned with group-level communication strategy.
Represent the company at investor meetings, roadshows, industry events, and targeted briefings across major Mainland financial hubs.
Serve as a communication bridge between headquarters and onshore stakeholders, ensuring alignment on corporate strategy, operating performance, capital structure, and funding position.
Support messaging related to financing activities, including refinancing and capital management initiatives, in collaboration with internal finance functions.
Coordinate interactions with relevant regulatory bodies and industry associations, including handling necessary documentation and ongoing communication.
Participate in capital markets initiatives involving structured or alternative financing solutions, supporting investor positioning and outreach efforts.
Oversee the preparation of Chinese-language investor materials, including presentations, briefing notes, and Q&A documents, ensuring clarity and audience relevance.
Adapt group-level messaging into locally appropriate narratives, particularly in areas such as financial position, liquidity, and market dynamics.
Track regulatory and market developments in China and provide timely insights to senior management.
Work closely with internal stakeholders including communications, legal, finance, and business teams to ensure consistency in external messaging.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience across investor relations, capital markets, investment banking, research, or corporate finance, with exposure to Mainland China investors.
Strong understanding of China's capital markets and regulatory landscape; familiarity with structured financing instruments is advantageous.
Experience supporting investor relations for listed entities, including disclosure practices and results communication.
Proven ability to engage institutional investors in complex or sensitive situations with clear and credible communication.
Fluent Mandarin and strong English communication skills.
Established network within the Mainland investment and financial community is a plus.
Experience in asset-heavy or capital-intensive sectors is advantageous.
Prior team management or mentoring experience preferred.
Willingness to travel frequently within Mainland China.
