Our client is Aleading insurance company in HKResponsibilities: Responsible for gap analysis, including financial impact on the Company’s risk governance framework against the Insurance Authority’s Guideline on Enterprise Risk Management and Hong Kong Risk Based Capital developments; Develop and implement the Own Risk and Self-Assessment (ORSA) process for the Company in accordance with the above-mentioned Guideline; Assist in model validation, valuation of the Hong Kong Risk Based Capital Target Capital, risk calculation and quantitative analysis; Take part in Stress Testing/ Scenario Analyses, consider reasonableness of Continuity Analysis, etc.; Support the business in risk assessment and mitigation plan on new products, reinsurance studies, ALM initiatives, capital optimization, and/or engage in deep-dive studies; Facilitate the updates of risk appetite, risk management framework and risk register(s) periodically and as when and where necessary; Take part in the preparation of risk reports (including operational risk requirements if needed) tailored to the requirements of relevant parties, such as the Senior Management Team, the Risk Management Committee, the Risk Committee of the Bank Group, the Insurance Authority as well as the Board of Directors; Conduct policy and internal control reviews, and liaise with internal and external auditors where necessary. Requirements: Business acumen with strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills; Strong leadership capability in coaching, developing and inspiring subordinates; Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills; Able to work under pressure and able to prepare Executive Summary within a limited time frame. Keep abreast of the relevant local laws and regulations and advise management on their implications; Be proactive, share best practice and ideas within the Company whenever possible; University degree in Risk Management, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines; At least 10 years’ relevant experience with managerial experience preferably gained from insurance companies or financial institutions in Hong Kong; Enterprise Risk Management training with designation by reputable associations (i.e. IRM, FRM, SOA, etc.)Experience in Own Risk and Solvency Assessment and Reporting in general insurance and life insurance; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Chinese word processing.
