Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of the HKIA Carbon Reduction Programme, including the HKIA Net Zero Carbon Pledge and the Business Partners Carbon Support Programme, through liaison with internal departments and airport business partners
Support the carbon auditing process for business partners participating in the HKIA Net Zero Carbon Pledge
Lead the HKIA Carbon Capacity Building Programme and identify opportunities for further collaboration with business partners
Collect and manage data inputs for AA’s carbon model and emissions trajectory
Conduct research and benchmarking to identify potential carbon‑related initiatives and support the development of case studies
Support external verification processes, including Airport Carbon Accreditation, in line with AA’s sustainability commitments
Support AA’s participation in external environmental and sustainability activities, including ISO 14001 monitoring, conferences and industry forums
Support the delivery of new environmental programmes, projects and initiatives as identified by team leaders
Assist in coordinating publicity and engagement initiatives to promote good environmental performance across the airport community
Prepare papers and materials for board or senior management consideration on environmental projects
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability or other related disciplines
Training as a carbon auditor and possession of a valid driving licence are an advantage
Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in sustainability, preferably with exposure to carbon management
Proven ability in effective liaison and communication with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong working relationships
Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver high‑quality written and verbal outputs
A self‑disciplined team player who is also able to work independently
Ability to think strategically and pragmatically
Excellent command of both written and spoken English & Chinese (i.e. Cantonese & Putonghua)
Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel and Power Point)
