Job Description
General Responsibilities: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, including doctors and healthcare professionals. Collaborate effectively with product specialists to achieve sales targets in accordance with the company's operational policies and relevant regulations, while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Field Promotion
Detail and implement key medical marketing messages, highlighting product advantages and relevant scientific information about our products and competitors.
Maintain continuous contact with customer groups to ensure strong relationships and meet sales targets.
Market Analysis
Analyze and report on market-specific information, including treatment patterns in healthcare centers, networking opportunities, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for Astellas.
Academic Activities
Self-initiate or assist in organizing activities such as workshops, patient education meetings, and direct-to-consumer programs.
Provide updated information on products and the company to address customers’ academic inquiries, thereby contributing to an increase in prescriptions.
Market Development
Develop potential markets to ensure stable and sustainable growth in market share, continuously identifying new opportunities for expansion.
Collection of Product Safety Information
Collect local product safety reports from healthcare professionals and submit them to the medical department.
Conduct follow-up visits to healthcare professionals, as requested by the medical department, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the reports.
Required
Undergraduate or equivalent degree with life science background
3+ years working experience. Pharmaceutical field will be advantageous
Prior experience working within a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment would be an advantage.
Self-directed, independent in a fast paced and high growth environment
Strong communicative and interpersonal skills and analytical skills
Strong understanding and grasp of market analysis, planning, development and management
Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Product Specialist
