Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR
Responsibilities
Handle data centre IT infrastructure and hardware maintenance contract renewal works, follow up service scope requirement and approval process.
Provide advice, guidance and due diligence in RFQ, tendering, procurement process and Procurement Committee Meeting.
Supervise the procurement process to ensure efficiency as well as compliance with the Bank’s policies.
Evaluate procurement proposal to protect the corporate’s best interest and to comply with internal policies.
Liaise with vendor for price negotiation, contract terms and conditions.
Perform vendor management and evaluate performance of vendor regularly.
Perform inventory and asset management of the data centres.
Perform IT equipment management including maintenance, installation, planning, cablings.
Work outside normal business hours on normal working days, whole day of Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays upon request of management.
Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the management.
Requirements
Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Studies or related discipline.
Experience in Banking field for 3 years or above, preferably with exposure to a data centre of banking.
Understanding of retail banking operations with knowledge of the banking environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communications, negotiation and presentation skills.
Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese.
Knowledgeable of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Chinese word processing.
