We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to plan and execute our social media strategy, enhance brand visibility, and engage our audience effectively. This role requires a creative thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for social media trends, reporting to the Growth Team Lead.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement
Analyze social media performance metrics, reporting on growth and engagement rates while identifying areas for improvement
Content Creation and Management: Oversee the brand’s day-to-day presence on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Linked In, etc)
Direct visual content creation and develop engaging social copy that keeps profiles active and relevant
Manage a content calendar to ensure timely posting aligned with current trends and events
Identify and reach out to social influencers that align with our target audience and brand values
Coordinate with external agencies for influencer marketing campaigns, ensuring deliverables are met and performance is tracked
Reporting and Competitors Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and social listening, and analyze competitor activities to keep the brand ahead of the curve
Prepare monthly review reports on social media performance, audience growth, campaign effectiveness
Collaboration with Cross Teams: Collaborate closely with branding, performance, and design teams to ensure campaign and messaging alignment
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
5 – 8 years of experience in a related field
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content management
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
Highly responsible with a self-motivated attitude; able to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Previous experience in a startup environment is a plus
