Job Description: We're seeking an experienced candidate to join our team at Sun Life Hong Kong IT. This role is essential for supporting the comprehensive system integration between our digital platforms and brokers' platforms. This role will be responsible for the entire integration process, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, implementing best practices, and ensuring that the integration aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of digital platforms, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams to drive successful broker integration. Preferred Skills: API Development: Proficiency in designing, developing, and managing RESTful API, Swagger, and OAuth 2.0. Strong experience with Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate ORM development. Microservices Architecture: Knowledge and hands-on experience with microservices architecture. Docker and Containerization: Proficiency in using Docker for containerization and deployment. Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Database Management: Familiarity with both relational and No SQL databases. CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Sonar Qube. Version Control Systems: Proficiency with Git and version control systems. Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for securing APIs and data. Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing system performance and scalability. Qualifications: More than 5 years solid experience in systems design, development, and implementation. Proven track record of successfully delivering digital solutions and large-scale system integrations. Strong knowledge of digital technologies and trends relevant to the financial/insurance sector. Hands-on experience in programming, API design, and development, with a good understanding of best practices for API design patterns and integration. Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle. Continuous Improvement on system stabilization experience desirable. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Fluent in English. Responsibilities: Broker Onboarding Journey Digital Enablement: Supporting the entire broker onboarding system integration process, from initial requirement to full platform integration. Coordinate with internal teams and brokers to ensure all technical, regulatory, and operational requirements are met. Provide ongoing support and training to brokers, ensuring they can effectively use the platform. Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize disruptions and ensure the service-level agreement (SLA). Gather users/brokers feedback and analyze System/API performance to inform future improvements. Provide hands-on technical support during the integration process. Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for all broker platforms. Maintain an active knowledge base for Broker platforms related material and system documents.
