Supervise the day-to-day distribution center operations to ensure overall efficient and effective operations General Responsibilities Support superiors in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against budgets to ensure resource efficiency. Assist in developing and enhancing distribution center strategies, policies, and processes to optimize capacity, productivity, and cost minimization. Supervise daily distribution center operations to ensure correct order allocation and timely distribution. Coordinate with permanent and temporary labor resources for efficient operations. Initiate work orders and liaise with contractors for repairs related to facilities and equipment. Identify opportunities for operational improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines during daily operations. Supervise stock activities including space allocation, stock counting, and transfers for effective management. Oversee product inspections to ensure quality and condition before storage. Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, customers, government agencies, and service providers. Collaborate with relevant managers to ensure integrated business solutions across functions such as customer service, finance, and sales. Education Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or related fields. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Understanding of distribution centers, distribution, and transportation processes. Hands-on experience in warehousing, inventory management, and pick-and-pack operations.
