Our client, a dynamic financial technology firm, is seeking a skilled mac OS Support Engineer to join their Hong Kong team.

This associate-level role will deliver frontline technical support across APAC, focusing on Apple endpoint management, system administration, and workstation deployment.

The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust technological infrastructure and support the firm’s rapid regional expansion.

Key Responsibilities: Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for mac OS and i OS platforms, troubleshooting hardware, software, and configuration issues, and coordinating with internal teams or external vendors as required.

Configure, deploy, and maintain Mac and i Pad endpoints, supporting onboarding, software updates, and hardware setups for both remote and on-site users.

Administer mac OS, i OS, and JAMF systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Set up workstations, applications, and peripherals across office locations to support business operations.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including knowledge base articles and system configuration records.

Meet defined service level agreements to address current and future support demands.

Research and implement innovative technical solutions to meet internal business needs, integrating them into production environments.

Work with IT leadership to introduce productivity-enhancing tools, such as AI-driven solutions, to optimize workflows.

Candidate Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Preferred certifications: Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), JAMF Certified Administrator, or equivalent.

3–5 years of experience in mac OS/i OS system management, JAMF administration, and Saa S application support.

Strong troubleshooting and deployment expertise for mac OS and i OS environments.

Proficiency in shell scripting and programming (e.g., bash, Python, Swift) in Unix-based systems.

Familiarity with Azure, SSO integrations, and identity management workflows.

Experience with ITSM platforms for ticket management and resolution.

Solid knowledge of Mac OS internals, networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN), and on-premises IT infrastructure.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Fluency in English; additional APAC language skills are a plus.

Additional Information: The role requires working in the Hong Kong office four days per week, with one day of remote work flexibility.

Occasional travel may be required to support offices in Asia.
