Our client is a biotech company.
They are currently seeking a System Administrator to join their Infrastructure team.
Job Duties: Manage and optimize Unix/Linux server environments, including Red Hat and Ubuntu distributions Maintain data storage clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability Conduct regular system and security operations in accordance with HKGI's security guidelines, including patch management, vulnerability assessments, and system monitoring Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy technical solutions Provide timely troubleshooting and resolution for system-related issues Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and procedures Work closely with external vendors to ensure data platform delivery and other deliverables meet standards Provide non-office hours, on-site support, and application support when necessary Perform any other duties assigned by senior officers Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline Preferably at least 3 years of hands-on experience in server administration, data centre operations Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments, particularly with Red Hat and Ubuntu distributions Experience in planning and executing data center relocations, including conducting test migrations and performing readiness validation to ensure a smooth transition To apply for this position, please simply click on the "APPLY" button.
