Introduction As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders. Your Role and Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, support and evolve digital applications and APIs. Deliver projects for digital transformation initiatives. Own, research and recommend new solutions to meet project-defined business and technical requirements. Ensure the implementation of defined architecture and infrastructure standards and strategic directions. Collaborate with the solution team and oversee the system development and implementation. Experiment with new tools and technologies ensuring the solutions stay relevant. Required Technical and Professional Expertise3+ years of full-stack development in backend & frontend applications. Proven experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Rest API, JSON/XML, SQL, React, Cordova, Dev Ops (Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, UCD, Docker). Experience in Dev Ops CI/CD pipeline configuration is preferred. Exposure to no-SQL data stores like Mongo DB and Elastic Search. Knowledge in cyber security will be a plus. Strong communication skills. Proficient in English & Chinese (verbal & written).
