With the firm’s upcoming expansion plan, they are creating a new headcount for the Chief Human Resources Officer to oversee their business. This role will oversee the entire HR function, leading a team of 12 and acting as a trusted HR advisor to the C-levels. The ideal candidate should be able to act as an HR strategist to set up tactics that cater to business objectives while also being hands-on enough to understand and oversee operations. This is a global-level role, and candidates with regional experience are desired. Job Description: Core Function: Develop and implement global HR strategies aligned with the firm's business goals and values. Establish a strong HR presence within the firm, acting as a strategic partner to the executive team and other departments. Set the Talent Acquisition strategy based on the firm’s expansion plan to attract potential new joiners and ensure a good level of candidate experience to shape employer branding. Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive organizational culture and enhance employee satisfaction. Review the compensation model and framework to ensure competitiveness within the market. Oversee talent management processes, from performance reviews and goal setting to identifying HIPOs and career development. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all regions where the company operates, providing strategic yet hands-on guidance on organizational design, succession planning, and change management initiatives. Senior Leadership Duties: Lead the HR team by providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure alignment with the company's goals. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and cross-functional partnerships to achieve HR and organizational objectives, and empower the team to deliver desired results. Participate in other HR projects as necessary. Skills & Experiences Required: University degree in HR Management or related discipline. Candidates from tech companies are desired; having APAC experience is a must, with EMEA or US experience being beneficial. Approx. 15 years of experience with solid team-leading experience. Fast-paced, open-minded yet seasoned candidates are desired. Highly fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) is a MUST.
