ENGL 1202 EEF University English: Listening and Speaking
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointees will be responsible mainly for the following:

Planning and teaching a full-time English Language Proficiency Course for undergraduate students;
Completing related duties including preparing teaching notes, marking and commenting on assignments and examination papers;
Assisting in the development of teaching and learning activities;
Providing consultation to students; and
Performing other duties related to the development and delivery of the course.

The appointees shall be required to teach a maximum of 6 hours per week during weekdays daytime on campus in the face-to-face mode between January 2025 and May 2025.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience, and competence:

A higher degree in English linguistics, applied English linguistics, English language and/or literature, or a related discipline; and
Must be excellent in both written and spoken English.

Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in tertiary education.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
