Role: AV Engineer – L2

We now have a new opportunity for a proven audio visual engineer to join our talented Hong Kong team, responsible for providing AV technical support for all meeting rooms across our client’s campus; working with the AV Subject Matter Expert and AVNOC team to ensure technical resolutions.
The position involves high exposure, working with executive management and managing directors to provide relevant services.
Key responsibilities:

Provide AV and VC set-up and technical support across all meeting rooms and VC equipped rooms
Advanced fault finding and troubleshooting
Perform L1/L2 incident management
Escalate, raise, and update incidents to the Regional Lead
Support Project Managers in the successful delivery of projects
Assist the AVNOC with delivery of a due diligence program providing reporting on room conditions and recommending upgrades and improvements
Demonstrate Self Service AV and VC capabilities to end-users wherever possible
Carry out proactive health checks in accordance with SOP
Support service continuity including preparation for service restoration from Power Downs, Black Building Exercises, and other Business Continuity activities
Assist with software upgrades
Support video/audio conferencing issues, investigate faults, and recommend actions
Maintain all multimedia/presentation rooms in good working order
Support multimedia meetings, including duration support
Assist with multimedia broadcasting support
Respond quickly to emergency/ad-hoc requests
Support IT-related enquiries, escalate if needed
Advise clients on best practices
Provide feedback on communication issues and service improvements
Assist with training new starters and freelancers
Build and maintain client relationships

Skills and experience:

Proven background in a technical audiovisual support role
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Experience managing systems like Crestron, Extron, AMX, Cisco, Zoom, VMR, etc.
Strong AV/VC experience
Excellent communication skills, able to liaise at all levels
