Quality Assurance Engineer - $50-60k P/M - Rolling contractWe are partnered with a leading provider of insurance solutions committed to delivering excellence in service. We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our large-scale system builds.Key Responsibilities:Quality Assurance:Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to ensure high software quality.Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing for large system builds.Backend Understanding:Collaborate with the development team to understand and test backend components, especially TypeScript and Node.js functionalities.Verify data flow and backend processes to ensure seamless system operation.QA Tools:Utilize common QA tools and frameworks for testing, such as (mention specific tools).Explore and implement automated testing procedures to improve efficiency.Documentation and Reporting:Document and report software defects using a standard bug tracking system.Provide clear and concise reports on test results and quality metrics.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.4-8 years of proven experience in QA engineering, preferably in large system builds or similar complex environments.Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for backend testing is highly advantageous.Strong understanding and application of common QA methodologies and tools.Experience with automated testing and test automation frameworks.Skills:Proficient in backend technologies like TypeScript and Node.js.Knowledge of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.Experience with automated testing frameworks.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.Argyll Scott Asia is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
