The Role We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to support Urban Rail Signaling (URS) bids and projects in Hong Kong. The role will primarily be based in the office, with occasional night shifts on-site for inspections and audits. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal quality audits Plan and perform site inspections Ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements Address customer concerns effectively Follow up on audit findings and suggest improvements Review test certificates and results (e.g., Static PICO, Dynamic PICO, SAT)Draft non-conformance reports Conduct root cause analysis investigations Ensure adherence to site configuration control processes Monitor calibration of tools and measuring equipment Conduct supplier/sub-contractor audits and factory inspections when directed Promote a ‘first-time-right’ approach Requirements Proficiency in written and spoken English Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related fields At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in rail signaling Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, & 45001 Occasional night shifts required Experience with MTR or urban rail signaling projects is a plus Strong problem-solving, teamwork skills, and ability to build positive relationships Desirable Skills ISO 9001 internal auditor qualification Knowledge of safety and environmental protection Understanding of the railway industry Knowledge of Cantonese and Mandarin Green Label (RSI) for MTR works Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
