About The Role As a senior officer, you will be responsible for assessing and approving new business applications according to the company’s standards, guidelines, and delegated authority. You will also lead projects and initiatives to grow our business. Your Key Responsibilities Include: Perform risk assessments for new business applications in accordance with underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, service pledge, and delegated authority. Collaborate with customer service to facilitate underwriting services and address inquiries. Use data-driven methods to identify and implement improvements enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. Prepare business requirements or underwriting documents for projects. Participate in ad hoc underwriting tasks or projects. About You3+ years of underwriting experience in life/health insurance. Professional qualification in life insurance (e.g., FLMI) is preferred. Experience with project/UAT involvement is highly preferred. Strong customer orientation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Independent, open-minded, self-motivated, a team player, capable of working under pressure. Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (spoken and written). Candidates with more experience may be considered for an assistant manager role.
