Job Position Summary This role involves shaping, driving, and managing the design, implementation, and management of applications (primarily cloud-based) across Fleet. The successful candidate will manage multiple IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure solutions aligned with business goals. This position is key to Fleet’s digital development to enhance our platforms used on over 650 ships. Key Roles and Responsibilities A typical day includes: Project Planning & Execution Leading and managing multiple IT projects, some directly owned, others collaborative Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders Coordinating project teams, ensuring effective communication and progress tracking Monitoring and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies Implementing project governance frameworks for transparency Reviewing deliverables for compliance with specifications and standards Possessing a strong understanding of IT foundations, including Infrastructure, SDLC, and Product Management Collaborating with technical teams to design and implement scalable solutions Providing technical support and guidance to team members Translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Building relationships with key stakeholders, including Directors and Senior Managers Coaching team members and working with vendors to deliver cost-effective digital solutions Relationship: Internal: Stakeholders (mainly HK, Singapore, India), Internal IT team (HK/India)External: Vendors and partners Job Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications Essential:7+ years of proven experience as an IT Project Manager Managing multiple projects with planning and budgeting skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in change management and IT infrastructure, SDLC, and engineering principles Vendor management experience Excellent communication skills in English Desirable: Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, XP, Lean)Certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 Technical certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, customer focus, planning, initiative, accountability, resilience, and adaptability skills Fleet Management Limited is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
