Technical Support Specialist (Global law firm) - IC Client Description Global law firm Job Description • Supporting the Regional IT Manager and Director of IT, Asia Pacific on all local and regional projects• Supporting the local office technology issues as needed by performing all user facing services such as answering user IT related questions, resolving service issues, providing IT service solutions and delivery support through phone, email or chat.• Ensuring that all relevant incidents, requests and problems are accurately logged, managed and escalated according require service levels.• Supporting the setup, testing, operation, and tear down of audiovisual (AV) and videoconference (VTC) equipment as required.• Supporting technology activities to required service levels that includes, but are not limited to software/ hardware IMAC (install, move, add, change), testing and evaluation.• Asset management, imaging, testing and deployment of machines.• Support of approved third party applications in coordination with vendors• To work within the team shift slot as assigned and be available on-call as required.• To assist the management as required on project work out of normal work scope.• Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements • Proven success supporting technology and delivering high quality customer service in a customer service focused environment.• Experience with windows compatible computers and Microsoft Windows 10• General hardware support experience, e.g. Laptop, Desktop, Printer, photocopier, etc.• Mobile device support experience, e.g., i Phone, i Pad, Android, Tablet, etc.• Mobile application support experience, e.g. Blackberry Work• Proficiency with Microsoft Office• Demonstrable communication and customer service skills.• Exposure to ITIL best practices• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience• Experience of operating within a law firm or other professional services environment.• Professional certification (A+, relevant Microsoft certifications).• ITIL Foundation Certification.
