We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Job Title Temporary / Part-time Research Assistant I/II (R6748) - (250002 V)Closing Date22/Jan/2025, 3:59:00 PMMajor Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will mainly assist the Principal Investigator in the research project “Dying in place in residential care homes for the elderly: Moving towards dignified end”. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Assisting in participants’ recruitment; Assisting in conducting interviews; Conducting literature review on relevant topics; Drafting of reports and presentations; Providing research-related assistance. For part-time position(s), the appointee will be normally assigned to work not more than 17 hours per week. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized Master’s degree or above, preferably in healthcare, social science or related disciplines (for Temporary / Part-time Research Assistant I); A recognized Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in healthcare, social science or related disciplines (for Temporary / Part-time Research Assistant II); Proficient in MS Office Words, Excel, and Power Point; proficient in SPSS will be an advantage; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility, able to work independently; Patience to work with older adults.
