IT Operations Manager (Data Center | High-Performance Computing (HPC))Overview: This position is responsible for overseeing all IT services provided to various stakeholders, including tenants and clients. The IT Operations Manager will manage service delivery processes, monitor compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and minimize business disruption caused by incidents or issues within production systems. Additionally, this role involves acting as the change manager to assess and mitigate risks associated with infrastructure changes impacting the production environment. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management Develop and oversee support services for platforms managed by the organization. Ensure daily IT operations adhere to best practices and meet established performance indicators. Implement and promote IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodologies among IT and outsourced teams. Maintain up-to-date documentation and procedures for outsourced operations in line with organizational standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective IT services and support. Incident and Change Management Ensure that all incidents and problems reported by outsourced providers are accurately documented and tracked. Utilize automation to improve the handling of recurring incidents and operational tasks. Communicate effectively with users regarding significant incidents that affect IT services. Promptly escalate critical incidents to senior management. Serve as the Change Manager, overseeing all infrastructure changes and ensuring proper approvals are obtained as per ITIL protocols. Facilitate Change Management meetings organized by the outsourcing team as necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience, with a strong background in delivering comprehensive solutions and high-quality service. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior role. Proven experience in implementing ITIL practices or possessing ITIL certification is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of data center operations, including networking, servers, storage solutions, disaster recovery, and production support. Familiarity with technologies such as Microsoft Server & Client systems, Cisco networking, VMware, HP, Dell, enterprise-level SANs, multi-carrier WANs, and mobile devices is essential. Experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) is advantageous. Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with internal and external parties, including vendors and operations teams. Service-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. Proficient in both business-level Chinese and English, with strong verbal and written skills.
