THE COMPANY : European company Trading & sourcing agent for German & European brands Small home electrical appliances & grooming personal care appliances Hong Kong: small sourcing office China offices: Shenzhen & Ningbo Main market: Germany & Europe We are looking for MERCHANDISER – with details as follows: THE JOB : Report to Merchandising Manager Work in Merchandising team of 3 members Manage daily operation and drive longer term strategic merchandising activities Establish and enhance supplier base, evaluate current and potential suppliers’ performance and build up strong relationship with suppliers Manage all aspects of merchandising including cost negotiation, vendor compliance, vendor management, product quality/certificates compliance and order placements Follow up on orders from sampling to delivery to meet customer expectation Coordinate with China vendor factories and own China offices Handle ad-hoc projects assigned by the European General Manager / Department manager At least 5 years of merchandising management experience in electrical health care, consumer electronics, electrical health & wellness products Familiar with sourcing and vendor management Familiar with quality standards for product categories for German & EU market Strong negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Willing to travel when required COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:5 days work13 months salary Annual leave: 10 days Birthday leave Medical insurance TO APPLY: Please attach your CV with salary expected to resume@jpc.hk JPC Recruiting Services was established in 1990.
