Senior Designer [contract],

Job Description
Join to apply for the Senior Designer (Contract) role at Spin Master Games.
Reports to Director, Design. You will contribute to the development and design across all our Preschool/Collectibles toy category, working hand in hand with Hong Kong/North America Design Teams and Asia Engineering and Product Development teams to deliver product lines that exceed business and customer expectations.
What will you work on?
Act as a bridge assisting Hong Kong/North America designers to drive their vision through development.
Work closely with Far East engineering teams, model shops and vendors to provide on‑site design input from initial briefing through model making to production.
Focus design input on aesthetics and play pattern.
Travel throughout China as required.
What are your skills and experience?
Experience working with remote design teams in North America or Europe.
Experience in toy design.
Ability to draw/sketch product; a clear visual communicator.
Clear communication in English, written and spoken.
Solid knowledge of production techniques including injection moulding, cut and sew, and decoration methods.
Experience providing cost‑down suggestions.
Self‑motivated, able to work independently with strong prioritization and project management.
Good sense of product design.
University undergraduate in Industrial Design or equivalent.
At least 5+ years design experience (toy industry preferred).
