The Treasury Specialist – Crypto is responsible for the execution and day-to-day management of crypto-related treasury accounts and activities, including exchange onboarding, account administration, and operational support. This role supports the Group's crypto treasury operations by ensuring accurate execution, proper documentation, and adherence to established treasury policies and controls. Working under the direction of the Finance Team Lead, the role focuses on operational delivery within approved frameworks, providing professional input on crypto-related account matters while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and risk management requirements. Key Responsibilities1. Crypto Exchange Account Execution & Administration Support the onboarding, setup, and administration of crypto exchange accounts in accordance with approved processes and requirements. Prepare and coordinate required documentation for exchange account opening, maintenance, and periodic reviews, including KYB documentation, UBO declarations, tax forms (e.g., W-8 BEN-E), and jurisdiction-specific compliance requirements. Ensure accurate record-keeping of exchange account details, access rights, and account status. Set up and maintain exchange API keys (trading, withdrawal, read-only), including permission scoping, IP whitelisting, scheduled key rotation, and secure storage in accordance with internal key management policies. Coordinate with trading, operations, and technology teams on API access requirements; troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, and permission issues with exchange counterparties.2. Operational Support & Control Execute approved treasury activities related to crypto accounts under established controls and authorization frameworks. Support the implementation of internal control measures, including access management and operational checks. Escalate operational issues, exceptions, or potential risks to the Finance Team Lead in a timely manner.3. Process Adherence & Documentation Execute crypto treasury activities in accordance with established SOPs and internal guidelines. Assist in maintaining and updating operational documentation related to crypto exchange processes. Provide feedback on process gaps or operational inefficiencies to support continuous improvement.4. Stakeholder & Counterparty Coordination Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support crypto-related treasury requests and account requirements. Liaise with crypto exchanges on operational matters such as account setup, documentation follow-ups, and routine inquiries. Support the Finance Team Lead in addressing exchange-related operational queries or issues. Ensure crypto treasury activities are conducted in line with internal policies, compliance requirements, and risk management expectations. Maintain awareness of relevant crypto operational risks and regulatory considerations, escalating concerns where appropriate. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Banking or a related discipline. Minimum of 4–7 years of relevant experience in treasury operations, finance operations, or crypto-related financial roles, with at least 2 years directly in crypto exchange operations. Practical experience with crypto exchanges, digital asset platforms, or crypto-related account operations. Basic understanding of crypto operational risks, account controls, and exchange onboarding requirements. Ability to follow established procedures and execute tasks accurately with attention to detail. Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external counterparties. Fluent spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin) is required, as the role involves daily communication with internal teams and exchange counterparties. The ability to read and write in English is also required for handling exchange documentation and email correspondence. Spoken English is not a strict requirement. Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments is an advantage.
