The title and package differs based on the experience level. Responsibilities Assist in evaluating and underwriting new and renewal property insurance applications. Analyze risk factors and determine appropriate coverage terms and conditions. Collaborate with senior underwriters to develop and implement underwriting strategies. Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and processes. Communicate effectively with brokers and clients to gather necessary information. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in related field. Background in general insurance underwriting is preferred (P&C, property, casualty, financial, personal lines, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and underwriting software.
